Frequently asked questions about the Free version

What does Clan CMS Free cost?

Nothing. The Free version is free and can be used without a time limit as long as you follow the terms and confirm it once a year.

What is included in the Free version?

Teams, player profiles, matches with results, news, partners, an application form, a contact form and the three designs Arena, Pro Org and Magazin. You manage everything in one admin area.

What are the limits?

At most 2 teams and 12 player profiles, no updates, no add-on modules and no premium designs. The footer shows the link "Website by Evolupe Media", which must not be removed.

Why do I need a license and have to enter my domain?

The license key is bound to your domain. During setup the CMS checks the domain. It cannot be set up on another domain, and a running Free version is locked.

What happens if I change my domain?

Request a new key for the new domain on this page. We lock the key for the old domain afterwards.

What is the yearly confirmation?

Once a year you confirm your Free license in the admin with one click. Only the key and the domain are transmitted. A reminder appears 30 days before. If you do not confirm, the site keeps running for another 30 days and is locked afterwards.

How do I switch to a purchased license?

You enter the new key in the admin under "License". Nothing needs to be reinstalled, the limits and the footer link disappear right away.

Is there support for the Free version?

No. There is no support for the Free version. The most important answers are on this page; with a purchased license we are happy to help.

Which data do you store with the request?

Name, team or organisation, email address and domain, plus the consents you tick. We use them to issue the license and stay in touch with you. More in the privacy notice.
